Program Requirements

Oak Grove Sanctuary Palm Springs is a licensed Transitional Housing Placement Program for Non-Minor Dependents designed to meet the needs of LGBTQ+ youth ages 18-21 as they transition into independent adulthood following foster care. Residents are able to remain in the home for up to three years as long as they follow and maintain the program.

Residents must meet the following criteria:

  • Identify as LGBTQ+

  • Be a current or former foster youth between the ages of 18-21 years old

To remain in the program, Residents will be expected to:

  • Comply with home rules and guidelines including respecting personal and private property

  • Find and maintain employment

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED, or work towards obtaining

  • Work with Life Coach to set and work towards personal goals toward independent adulthood
